Stainless Steel Products Supplier, Stockist & Exporter in India
Stainless steel products are specified in process, marine, food, pharmaceutical, power and instrumentation systems where corrosion resistance, hygiene or high-temperature strength affects service life. Grade selection comes first: 304/304L for general service, 316/316L for chloride exposure, 310S for elevated-temperature oxidation, 321 and 347H for stabilised high-temperature service, and 317L or 904L for more demanding acid or chloride conditions.
Aashish Metal & Alloys supplies stainless steel pipes, tubes, sheets, plates, bars, pipe fittings, flanges, fasteners, instrumentation valves, tube fittings and shims in grade-specific sizes and specifications. Material documentation should match the ordered product standard; EN 10204 3.1 certification, PMI, EN 10204 3.2 and third-party inspection can be arranged where required by the purchase order.

Stainless Steel Grade Families in This Range
This page focuses on austenitic 300-series grades and super-austenitic 904L. Duplex 2205/S31803/S32205 and super duplex 2507/S32750/S32760 are covered in the separate Duplex & Super Duplex range. Do not add ferritic or martensitic grades to this page unless current supply is confirmed.
How to Choose the Right Stainless Steel Grade
- Dry, indoor, food-grade or general engineering use → 304/304L is the economical default
- Coastal air, marine spray, brackish water or chemical splash → step up to 316/316L for the added molybdenum
- Furnace, kiln or sustained high-temperature oxidation → choose 310/310S for elevated-temperature oxidation resistance rather than aqueous-corrosion service
- Hot welded joints that must resist weld-zone sensitisation → 321 (titanium-stabilised) or 347/347H (niobium-stabilised)
- Sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid or heavy chloride load → consider 904L where the service chemistry supports it; for continuous seawater or higher chloride-pitting resistance, review the Duplex & Super Duplex
Process, Quality, Certification & Traceability
Stainless steel documentation must follow the ordered product form and project requirement. Mill-supplied material can be provided with heat-number traceability and EN 10204 3.1 documentation; PMI, EN 10204 3.2 and third-party witness inspection can be arranged when specified. Welded pipe and tube testing must follow the governing material standard rather than a blanket NDT statement. Before publishing any company-level trust claim, verify the current ISO 9001:2015 certificate scope and the stated export/operating-history figures.
Standards reference by product form: ASTM A240/A240M (sheet, plate and strip); ASTM A276/A479 (bars and shapes); ASTM A312/A312M (austenitic stainless pipe); ASTM A213/A213M and A269/A269M (tube, where applicable); ASTM A403/A403M (wrought austenitic pressure-piping fittings); ASTM A182/A182M (forged flanges, forged fittings and valve parts); ASTM A193/A193M and A194/A194M (pressure/high-temperature bolting and nuts). Use ASME B16.5, B16.9 and B16.11 for applicable component dimensions/ratings and ASME B36.19M for stainless pipe dimensions. EN 10204 3.1/3.2 documentation as ordered.
Stainless Steel Products Price
Stainless steel prices can change based on the material grade, product specifications, manufacturing requirements, and current market conditions. The cost of stainless steel products is generally influenced by the following factors:
- Grade and Alloying Elements: Grades containing higher levels of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, or other alloying elements may have a higher price because of their material composition and performance characteristics.
- Product Type and Dimensions: Pipes, tubes, sheets, plates, bars, fittings, flanges, and fasteners can have different prices depending on their size, thickness, weight, manufacturing process, and required finish.
- Raw Material and Market Trends: Changes in the prices of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and other raw materials can affect stainless steel costs. Currency movements, supply conditions, and overall market demand may also influence pricing.

Stainless Steel Products: FAQs
304 and 304L, 316 and 316L, 310 and 310S, 321, 347 and 347H, 317 and 317L, and 904L, across shims, instrumentation valves, tube fittings, fasteners, bars and pipes. If a grade or form is not listed, ask, because we hold more than the site shows and can source to specification.
Molybdenum. 316 carries 2 to 3 percent molybdenum that 304 does not, which gives it far better resistance to chlorides, marine air and chemical service. In dry or indoor use 304 is the more economical choice; the moment chlorides are present, 316 is worth its premium. The low-carbon 304L and 316L variants are for parts that are welded and left as-welded.
Yes. Alignment shims, precut shims and laminated peelable shims are cut to your thickness and footprint, most commonly in 304 and 316. We hold a shim stock range so small and urgent orders ship quickly, and larger runs are quoted on enquiry.
Yes, and it is a common request. Needle, ball and manifold valves, compression and tube fittings, and the bolts, nuts and washers can all be held to a single grade such as 316L or 904L, so an instrumentation hook-up or a flanged joint does not mix metals. Give us the grade and the bill of materials and we will quote the set.
Every order ships with an EN 10204 mill test certificate that is heat-number traceable, with positive material identification and third-party witness inspection available at order stage. It is the assurance that the grade on the certificate is the grade in the box.
