Our V Shaped Winged Refractory Anchors exhibit excellent resistance, even at temperatures as high as 49°C, withstanding acid concentrations up to 5%. They are designed to perform reliably across diverse environments. At room temperature, the yield strength and tensile strength are approximately 35,000 psi and 85,000 psi, respectively.
These anchors offer outstanding resistance to molten copper, superior thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, and excellent oxidation resistance. They also provide high resistance to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, intergranular corrosion, and pitting corrosion.
Used in various engineering applications including fencing, pipelines, and scaffolding, they are stabilized with columbium to reduce carbide precipitation during welding. This columbium stabilization enhances corrosion resistance, improves mechanical properties, and facilitates easier fabrication.
The V Shaped Corrugated Flat Base Type combines surface wear resistance with a tough core, making it highly durable. The Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) is often applied as a standard to grade these anchors based on their corrosion resistance.
