Aashish Metals has a factory and supply of Inconel Fasteners in Mumbai, India, providing high-temperature and corrosion-resistant fasteners for challenging industrial environments. Supplied in accordance with the required specification, our Inconel fasteners are produced with quality controlled nickel alloy materials, and are prepared in grades such as Inconel 600, 601, 625 and 718. We have bolts, nuts, washers and screws, and other customisable combinations of fasteners in standard and non-standard sizes.
Depending on the product and grade, our Inconel Fasteners are manufactured to meet the applicable ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO and ANSI specifications. They come in a variety of sizes and types such as Inconel Hex Bolts, Heavy Hex Bolts, Socket Head Cap Screws, Anchor Bolts, Tap Bolts and Stud Bolts. In addition, custom dimensions, thread forms, lengths and finishes can be provided based on the project requirements.
Aashish Metals is all about dimensional accuracy, material traceability and consistent product quality. Additional inspection or testing documentation and/or Mill Test Certificates may be provided as necessary. Our Inconel fasteners can be used in high-temperature, corrosive, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, marine and industrial pipe environments.
What are Inconel fasteners?
Inconel fasteners are bolts, studs, nuts, screws, washers and threaded rods made from Inconel nickel-chromium alloys such as 600, 601, 625 and 718. They keep their strength and resist oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures and in aggressive media, where stainless steel and carbon steel fasteners would fail.
Inconel Fasteners Grades
Inconel 625 bolts and fasteners (UNS N06625)
Alloy 625 gets its strength from molybdenum and niobium in solution, not from ageing, which means it stays tough, weldable and highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride cracking. That is why inconel 625 bolts and inconel 625 fasteners are the usual choice for seawater, offshore, chemical and flue-gas service. If your drawing says alloy 625 bolts, it means the same material, and you may also see it written as N06625 or W.Nr. 2.4856.
Inconel Fasteners 718 and Bolts (UNS N07718)
718 is the high-strength option. It is a precipitation-hardened alloy, so after solution treatment and ageing, inconel 718 bolts reach roughly 1,240 MPa tensile and 1,030 MPa yield, far above 625, with good performance up to around 650–700 °C. It is used in turbines, aerospace, oil-field and sour-gas hardware. Inconel 718 fasteners, inconel 718 screws and inconel 718 socket head cap screws are all supplied in the aged condition unless you specify otherwise. Do not weld them after ageing without a procedure.
Inconel 600 Fasteners and Bolts (UNS N06600)
Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that resists oxidation to very high temperatures and chloride stress-corrosion cracking, and it is immune in caustic and many reducing media. Inconel 600 bolts and inconel 600 fasteners are common in furnaces, heat treatment, nuclear and chemical plants. It is a solid-solution alloy, so strength is moderate and cannot be raised by heat treatment.
Inconel 601 Fasteners (UNS N06601)
Alloy 601 adds aluminium to the 600 recipe for outstanding oxidation and scaling resistance up to about 1,150 °C. Inconel 601 fasteners are chosen for furnace fixtures, burners, radiant tubes and heat-treatment baskets.

Inconel Fasteners Sizes
Inconel fasteners are available in a wide range of diameters, lengths, thread configurations and dimensions to meet different industrial requirements. Standard sizes generally include M3 to M100 metric sizes and corresponding imperial dimensions, with custom sizes available on request. Bolts, nuts, screws, studs, washers and other fastener types can be supplied according to applicable ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO and ANSI specifications. The exact size selection depends on the fastener type, Inconel grade, application, thread standard and required load conditions.
Selection and Installation Guidance
Match the fastener to the joint
For Inconel lines, pair fasteners with matching Inconel pipes and tubes, 625 pipe fittings, threaded and socket weld fittings, and flanges. Instrument lines often need tube fittings, needle valves, ball valves and manifold valves mounted with matching hardware.
Avoid galling and seizing
Nickel alloys can gall, meaning the threads weld together as the nut turns. At high temperature, they can also seize. To reduce the risk:
- Use a nickel-based or other anti-seize free of sulphur, lead and chlorides.
- Prefer rolled threads and clean, undamaged thread surfaces.
- Run nuts on slowly. Avoid impact wrenches.
- Consider Xylan coated or PTFE coated fasteners at moderate temperatures, and check coating limits for your service.
- Validate torque with the lubricant you actually use.
Nuts and washers
Use inconel nuts and inconel washers in the same alloy as the bolt or stud. For 718 studs, a matching-strength nut in the correct condition is important, because a soft nut on a hard stud can strip.
Hot-service tips
- Allow for creep and stress relaxation in bolted joints held for years above about 500 °C, and plan re-torque or use spring washers if the design allows.
- Use silver-free, sulphur-free and lead-free marking and lubricants.
- Never weld or braze near aged 718 fasteners without a procedure. Heat can change their properties.
Inconel Fasteners Price
The price of Inconel fasteners varies according to the alloy grade, fastener type, size, thread specification, quantity, manufacturing standard, surface finish and material certification. Grades such as Inconel 600, 601, 625 and 718 may have different prices because of their composition and manufacturing requirements. Custom sizes, special threads and additional testing or certification can also affect the final cost. For an accurate Inconel fasteners price, customers can provide the required grade, dimensions, quantity and applicable standard to receive a current quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions
They are used where stainless steel and carbon steel bolts cannot cope: gas turbines, aerospace engines, furnaces, refineries, chemical plants, subsea and offshore systems, and heat-treatment equipment. The alloys hold strength and resist oxidation and corrosion at high temperature and in aggressive media.
625 gets its properties from solid-solution strengthening and is prized for corrosion resistance, toughness and weldability. 718 is precipitation-hardened, so it reaches far higher strength, roughly 1,240 MPa tensile when aged, but it is best up to about 650–700 °C and needs care with welding. Choose 625 for corrosion, 718 for strength.
Yes, but with conditions. NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 limits hardness and specifies the heat-treatment condition for 718. Always state sour service on your enquiry so we supply the correct condition and test reports, and check the current revision of the standard.
They can, especially at temperature. Use sulphur- and chloride-free anti-seize, rolled threads, slow tightening and validated torque, or a suitable coating. Avoid impact tools, and use nuts and bolts in compatible alloys.
Yes. We supply inconel screws (including 718 socket head cap screws), inconel washers and nuts as standard, and can quote inconel rivets to drawing for solid rivet types. Confirm grade and size with us.
Need Inconel bolts, studs or screws that survive the heat?
Send us your grade, size, thread and quantity, or attach a drawing. We will reply with a clear quote and the right certificates, and an engineer can help you choose between 600, 601, 625 and 718.
