Beryllium also provides Copper with the capability of steel and the conductivity of a Copper Alloy. Due to the great fatigue strength, beryllium copper finds application in springs, pressure responsive diaphragms, flexible bellows, connectors, contacts and relays, all of which are under cyclic loading.
Beryllium copper is stronger than steel and the strength is reaching 1,400 MPa (200,000 psi) in addition to its high thermal conductivity of 62 Btu / ft-deg. F-H.
