Aashish Metal & Alloys supplies Inconel 600 Pipes & Tubes in UNS N06600 / W.Nr. 2.4816 for corrosion-resistant and elevated-temperature service. The nickel-chromium-iron alloy is widely specified for heat-treatment equipment, chemical processing, power-generation and other applications where resistance to oxidation and chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking is important. INCONEL® is a trademark of the Special Metals Corporation group; engineering enquiries should identify UNS N06600 and the applicable ASTM/ASME product standard.
Seamless Inconel 600 pipe and tube is covered by ASTM B167 / ASME SB167. Welded Alloy 600 tube is covered by ASTM B516 / ASME SB516, while welded Alloy 600 pipe is covered by ASTM B517 / ASME SB517. Product form, dimensions, condition and testing should be selected against the purchase specification rather than treated as interchangeable.
Inconel 600 is strengthened by cold work rather than precipitation hardening. Pipe is normally ordered by NPS/schedule or OD × wall as specified by the project, while tube is ordered by exact OD × wall. Orders can be supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates and heat-number traceability; PMI, EN 10204 3.2 and third-party inspection can be arranged when specified.
Send the product standard, size/OD, wall or schedule, condition, quantity, length and certification requirement for a project-specific Inconel 600 quotation.

What Are Inconel 600 Pipes and Tubes?
Inconel 600 (Alloy 600 / UNS N06600) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy used where corrosion resistance and heat resistance are required together. Its high nickel content gives strong resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and many organic/inorganic media, while chromium improves resistance to oxidising conditions at elevated temperature.
Construction must be tied to the correct product specification: ASTM B167 for seamless pipe/tube, ASTM B516 for welded tube and ASTM B517 for welded pipe. Seamless versus welded selection should be based on the design code, dimensions, pressure/temperature duty, examination requirements and project specification—not a blanket assumption that one construction always has a higher pressure rating.
UNS N06600 pipe and tube is used in furnace and heat-treatment equipment, chemical-processing systems, power-generation equipment, selected nuclear-service components and other high-temperature/corrosive applications. Aashish Metal & Alloys supplies project quantities against the required standard, size, condition and documentation scope.

Physical Properties of Inconel 600
Reference values from the Special Metals INCONEL® Alloy 600 technical bulletin:
- Density: approximately 8.47 g/cm³
- Melting range: approximately 1354–1413°C
- Thermal conductivity at room temperature: approximately 14.9 W/m·°C
- Electrical resistivity: approximately 1.03 µΩ·m
These are reference physical properties, not design allowables. Pressure/temperature design must use the governing code, product condition and project design basis.
How to Specify Inconel 600 Pipe & Tube
Pipe and tube should be ordered by the governing product standard and dimensional requirement, not by alloy name alone. For a quotation, provide: UNS N06600 / Alloy 600; seamless pipe or tube (ASTM B167), welded tube (ASTM B516), or welded pipe (ASTM B517); NPS and schedule for pipe or exact OD × wall for tube; condition/finish; length; quantity; end preparation; and certification/inspection requirements. Do not describe welded product as ERW or EFW unless that exact manufacturing process is confirmed by the mill certificate.
Inconel 600 Pressure Rating – Design Basis
ASTM B167, B516 and B517 are material/product specifications; they do not provide one universal pressure rating for every Inconel 600 pipe or tube. Allowable working pressure depends on OD, wall thickness, material condition, design temperature, the applicable piping/pressure-vessel code, joint or weld factors, corrosion allowance and project design rules. For pressure service, submit the design pressure and temperature with the required size so the product can be checked against the governing code before quotation.
Quality, Testing & Documentation for Inconel 600
For ASTM B167 seamless pipe/tube, testing includes the requirements of the governing specification, including tension testing and hydrostatic or nondestructive electric testing as applicable. ASTM B516 welded tube and ASTM B517 welded pipe have their own manufacturing, mechanical and test requirements. Orders can be supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates and heat-number traceability; PMI, EN 10204 3.2 documentation and third-party inspection can be arranged when specified in the purchase order. Do not promise every test on every order unless it is required by the product standard or PO.
Inconel 600 Pipe Dimensions & Theoretical Weight
Use the consolidated UNS N06600 dimension-and-weight table in Fold 14. The earlier duplicate size/weight tables have been removed because they used carbon-steel theoretical weights rather than Alloy 600 density. The Fold 14 weights are recalculated using an Alloy 600 density of approximately 8.47 g/cm³ and remain theoretical values. Treat the table as a dimensional/weight reference only—not as proof that every NPS/wall combination is available under ASTM B167 or B517. Large-diameter rows, especially above the normal seamless range, require confirmation against the welded-pipe mill capability and purchase specification.

Inconel 600 Pipes & Tubes Price
The price of Inconel 600 pipes depends on pipe size, wall thickness, manufacturing method, quantity, material condition and required specifications. Seamless pipes, welded pipes and special-size requirements may have different pricing. Market conditions and nickel raw material costs can also affect the final quotation.
For an accurate Inconel 600 pipe price, customers should provide the required NPS or outside diameter, wall thickness or schedule, pipe length, quantity and applicable ASTM or ASME specification. Aashish Metal & Alloys can provide a project-specific quotation based on the required product details and delivery requirements.

FAQs About Inconel 600 Pipes & Tubes
Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy identified as UNS N06600 / W.Nr. 2.4816. It combines corrosion resistance with oxidation resistance at elevated temperature. It is not precipitation hardenable; higher strength is obtained by cold work.
Yes. Alloy 600 and Nickel Alloy 600 are common names for UNS N06600. INCONEL® is a trademark of the Special Metals Corporation group, so engineering purchase specifications should identify the UNS number and the applicable ASTM/ASME product standard.
ASTM B167 covers seamless nickel-chromium-iron alloy pipe and tube, including UNS N06600. ASTM B516 covers welded Alloy 600 tube for boiler, heat-exchanger and condenser service, while ASTM B517 covers welded Alloy 600 pipe. Use the standard that matches the actual product form.
Choose seamless or welded construction from the design code, pressure and temperature, dimensions, examination requirements and project specification. Seamless construction does not automatically make every size suitable for a higher pressure; wall thickness, material condition, temperature and code rules still control the design rating.
There is no single pressure rating for all Inconel 600 pipe and tube. Allowable pressure depends on OD, wall thickness, material condition, design temperature, applicable code, weld or joint factors, corrosion allowance and other design inputs. Send the design pressure and temperature with the required size for review.
Orders can be supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates and heat-number traceability where ordered. PMI, EN 10204 3.2 documentation and third-party inspection can be arranged when specified in the purchase order.
Send UNS N06600 / Alloy 600, ASTM or ASME product standard, seamless or welded construction, NPS and schedule or exact OD × wall, condition/finish, length, quantity, end preparation, testing and certification requirements, and delivery destination.
