Duplex Steel S31803 and S32205 pipe fittings are mainly used in industries where a high degree of corrosion resistance is needed, high degree of mechanical strength and performance at pressures that can be relied upon. This type of fittings is produced in accordance with the specifications of ASTM A815 and meet the requirements of material defined by WNR 1.4462, UNS S31803, and UNS S32205. The Duplex Stainless steel material has a balanced microstructure that offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking and that is why it is the preferred material in extreme environments like in the offshore, petrochemical and chemical processing units.
